Dear Members, welcome back and hope life is treating you well!
The 2024 season is here! We successfully navigated our 1st year of Golf Genius and look forward to year 2! Our annual spring meeting will be on 3/25/2024 at 6:30 PM. Detailed golf course information is on the Oak Hills website. If you are not receiving emails from us, please send a message on our contact form or email us at oakhillsmens@gmail.com.
Membership
You can pay your 2024 dues online conveniently through Golf Genius or in the pro shop via check or credit card. Once you sign up, then you will be eligible to play in tournaments. This year we will have tournaments from the new Green/White & Blue/White combo tees which should be exciting.
Annual Association dues for 2024 is $90 and an additional $15 for the MGA membership. Junior players (under 18) and college students will continue to receive discounted men’s association rates.
Rules
Please review the 2024 Tournament Rules, Local Rules, and Tournament Schedule on the website. Note: The USGA has new rules around handicap score submission including tools making it easier to find discrepancies amongst non-compliant golfers. Be aware of the rules, it is your sole responsibility.
Shoreline Tournament
Oak Hills will play again in the Shoreline. It's a competition between 6 clubs (H. Smith Richardson, Alling Memorial, Fairchild Wheeler, Sterling Farms, Hubbard Heights and Oak Hills). The tournament is a one-day low net competition format with teams of 16 players from each course. We need 7 players from 0-10 handicap, 7 players from 11-20 with a President and Tournament Chairman. This year we play at Sterling Farms in Stamford!
Last year we were second - great showing by Oak Hills! The tournament will be held September 15, and it rotates amongst the competing Fairfield courses. Entry fee is manageable, and we will alert you as we receive more information.
